We knew we wanted to build our family through both biological children and adoption. When we found out we were pregnant with our first child, our adoption was put on hold. Requirements soon changed and we were allowed to continue our adoption process, with the stipulation that we wouldn't receive a referral until our biological child was 6 months old. On Abe's 6-month birthday, we received a referral of a 1-month old baby boy, Will Tegegn! We don't have a court date yet, but eagerly anticipate our upcoming travel to Ethiopia to meet our little boy. Katelyn's Fund has been such a blessing to us in our adoption journey. The adoption process is strenuous, but God has provided every step of the way through the prayer and financial giving of friends, family, and Katelyn's Fund. We are so thankful!
