At the end of 2008, after three years of adoption grant ministry, we began asking ourselves, “What about the children around the world who, realistically, may never be adopted into a home?” It was in this place that the Lord birthed a dream, grafted a new branch to the Katelyn’s Fund ministry, and led us to One Vision Haiti.
One Vision Haiti is home to 71 of God’s most beautiful sons and daughters. While orphaned by life circumstances and the hardships in Haiti, they are radiant in His eyes, and it is our great honor to do life with them. We believe in orphan care that not only meets the physical needs of a child, but invites each of them into a lifetime of wholeness–mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as well. It is an investment worthwhile, but one only made possible through partners like you.
Every dollar donated goes directly towards meeting the daily needs and restoring a lifetime of wholeness to God’s sons and daughters at the OneVision Haiti orphanage.
There are a few ways you can join our family as a monthly giver:
GENERAL ORPHANAGE SPONSOR
This means you commit to give $25+ a month towards the overall orphanage and the well-being of all 71 kids in care. In return, you will receive monthly updates about the happenings at One Vision and special opportunities to travel.
FAMILY GROUP SPONSOR
This means you commit to give $50+ a month towards a specific family group. A family group is a smaller group of 6-12 children and one mommy that functions as a “family” within the whole group at the orphanage. They live together in the same dorm room, care for each other as brothers/sisters do, share responsibilities around the orphanage grounds, help their mommy, and share in a weekly Bible study. In return, we will equip you with opportunities to invest and grow in relationships with the kids in this family group. You will receive monthly updates about the happenings at One Vision, an annual update specific to your family groups, and special opportunities to travel. Both of these opportunities help us to provide for One Vision’s $20,000 monthly operating budget and gives you an opportunity to connect across cultures, enriching your life while you enrich a child’s.
