On Tuesdays, we take time to focus on some of our families that have received grants from Katelyn's Fund.  May you be blessed by their stories…..

In February, we felt led to move forward with the adoption process and couldn’t wait to get started!  We had been talking about and praying about adoption for a few years.  After much prayer, our pastor’s preaching, Katelyn’s Fund speakers, and some key nudges from God, we stepped out in faith knowing that we both completely felt called by God to adopt.  We have decided to adopt within the United States and are anxious to see which precious child God has for our family!   We are still in the “waiting period” and continue to pray for patience as we wait to be matched with our baby.

We are passionate about children and feel God has called us to be obedient to care for the orphans of the world.  We have focused on Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”  Even though God has challenged our family to head down a much more “unclear” path in our eyes we know that with His guidance and our obedience, He will provide for all our needs and Katelyn’s Fund was just one way He has done that!  We can’t wait to see what He has in store for our family.

Katelyn’s Fund has been a huge blessing to us!  The grant has not only helped us financially but even more importantly, they have been and will be a great support system for us and others through the adoption process.  When we met with the board members we were a little anxious and excited that there was a chance for us to receive a grant.  However, we received so much more that night than just a possible grant.  We left the meeting feeling loved, supported, encouraged, and blessed with how they lifted us up in prayer.  We could feel the love that they have for all of the orphans and could see how much they rely on God and His will.  We are so thankful for the Katelyn’s Fund organization and their supporters.  May God continue to bless your organization as you follow God’s will in helping others care for all His children.
