It is so important for adoptive families to be in community. When our oldest kids were young, we had many friends who shared our parenting journeys. We had lots of folks we could call for advice. We had people to talk to when we had questions or just needed support. That changed when we adopted the girls.
We need community. We keep seeking and we keep finding. The families we have met through Katelyn’s Fund have been amazing. The online support through places like Empowered to Connect have been super as well.
