We knew that adoption was something the Lord was calling us to when we were married, but we had no idea what God’s timing would be in this. We also felt the Lord calling us to serve overseas. After living overseas for 5 years and having 2 boys, we felt very clearly that the Lord was saying it was time to pursue the adoption of a little girl from China. When fears of how the money will come, we prayed and remember the faithfulness of the one who has called us. He has been faithful to provide while living overseas and he will be faithful to provide for this little girl He is calling us to.
We were so blessed by the phone interview with Katelyn’s Fund. The time spent in prayer was so amazing and we knew that Katelyn’s Fund was so focused on the Lord and so full of the spirit of the Lord. Many times we spend so much time doing much for others that we rarely are the ones being ministered to. The ministry of prayer meant so much to us. We were so blessed to get a grant from Katelyn’s Fund and we look forward to keeping in touch as we continue to wait for the little girl that the Lord has for us.
