God called us so directly to adopt. He has been so faithful and led us to Colombia and to our son. He has guided us and walked with us in every step of the way. During our trials and tribulations, fears, wins, successes, and everything in between. Katelyn’s Fund has made the most incredible impact in our process. Financial strains have been overwhelmingly stressful for our family and Katelyn’s Fund has provided us the ability to secure plane tickets to get our family to/from Colombia and bring our sweet little boy home.
God has had a hand in every step of this process. This adoption process has shown us how faithful and good He truly is. He has been more active and present in our lives than ever before. This has strengthened our faith and love in Him, and has led us to become even more involved in our church and community. He has transformed our hearts and we have become better parents, husband and wife, and brother and sister because of it. The Lord is the reason this adoption will come to fruition. We were too ashamed to seek help with our adoption and after two years, he encouraged us to be more humble and honest than ever, and be brave in seeking assistance.
