Marriage Matters — God’s design for marriage is that the commitment to love between man and woman reflect Christ and His church.  Reflecting the glory and beauty of Christ in marriage is a significant challenge among two well-meaning and yet sinful people.  Sprinkle in adopted or foster children and now marriage often faces an all-out assault.  Stress, chaos, pain, confusion, triangulation, weariness, financial strain, and lack of intimacy are typical weapons in the assault.  It is God’s desire that our marriages be Christ-centered rather than child-centered.  Is this even possible amidst all the special needs our children have?  Loren De Jong will help us answer this question both as a professional and from personal experience.
