Shifts in Thinking — Getting everyone who is involved in your child’s life on the same page can often seem more of a dream than a reality….so let’s start making it a reality!  Invite anyone and everyone involved in your child’s life to tonight’s training so Darcie Van Voorst can help you start the process!  Some examples of people you could invite are teachers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, babysitters, Sunday school teachers, pastors, youth group leaders, therapists–the options are limitless!  We will start the evening by developing an understanding of how children from hard places are different.  Once they understand these differences, Darcie will help them recognize why traditional approaches will not work with our children from hard places and why different approaches are critical to the success of our children.  Throughout the evening we will discuss fundamental shifts in thinking that adults need to make in order to help children fro hard places reach their full potential.
