Request a Grant Application

If you would like to apply, please send a filled out application along with all items listed under “Criteria and Guidelines” or files will not be reviewed.

If applicants are chosen for an interview, the interview is done in person if they live within 120 miles of Sioux Center, Iowa, or via Skype if they live further away.

The application and interview will occur:

1. WITHIN 45 days of child being placed in your home for all domestic placements
2. BEFORE final travel for all international placements

Please be aware that the application process could take 2-3 months. We suggest applying as soon as you have an approved home study.

The number of requests far outweigh the number of resources we have available. We give higher priority to families who make less than $100,000 a year as we have so many applicants.

It is the responsibility of the applicants to make sure all materials are included with the application and on the application checklist. We will not process any files that are missing items. Files that are incomplete will not be reviewed.

Due to the sheer number of applicants, we are not able to respond to inquiries about the status of your application or about checking on items needed.
