Tomorrow our family is moving to Roatan, Honduras to serve Jesus Christ as missionaries. Over the last few years as the Lord has been preparing me for the mission field, the enemy's fiery darts fly as he accuses me with, "Who are you to be a missionary!" "You are not worthy!"
It is true, I am not worthy, but Jesus Christ is!
In Colossians 1:21-22 God tells us…
And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight.
How beautiful, how wonderful, how amazing and miraculous! Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, all those who accept Him as their Lord and Savior, receive salvation from their sins… they are forgiven, washed clean by the blood of the Lamb… they will be presented before the throne of God holy, blameless, above reproach in His sight. Jesus Christ is our righteousness.
In Colossians 2:9-10 He tells us,
For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
Whatever path the Lord is laying before each of us…
Whatever calling He is calling each of us to…
It's not about me… it's not about you… it's about JESUS and we are COMPLETE IN HIM!
Just keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, take that step of faith, and remember that it is not about us, it is about Him!
